    found this one rounds are green laquered and have maker mark

    Ordinary German " 9mm Pistolenpatrone 08 m.E ".
    Paper box without label . . . . . . . . :-(
    hla = Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, werk Sebaldushof.
    St = steel case (In the late 1930s Germany began production of steel cases in an effort to save brass for higher priority applications.)
    During the early stages of World War II, Germany developed two new bullets in an attempt to
    save lead. The first of these bullets was designated the 08 m.E. (for mit Eisenkern) or “with
    iron core”.

      Primers are laquered green and ink stamp on cardboardbox indicate
      Beschuss also not the comon rounds this are high pressure
      Cartridges for final proof of gun.any opinions ?

        Excuse me. I overlooked it.
        In my collection I have those brass cartridges with green lacquered case head.





        So Yours are quite rare.

          here are pics of 8x57 german beschuss rounds the same laquered casses as
          the the 9mm para rounds with ink stamp. also a rare box the 9mm .
