Might it be an 8 pounder British WWI round?

      Italian AA Gun.
      What are the dimensions?
Diameter of shell at body and driving band :
      Lenght of cartridge case :
Cartridge case rim (bottom) diameter :
This is 75mm-76mm caliber i think.
O.T.32 time fuze made in "SIPE - Società Italiana Prodotti Esplodenti " 1935Y
Cartridge case made in "MB - Metallurgica Bresciana" 1917Y, reused 1918 and 1930

It seems to be round for an Italian anti-aircraft cannon " Cannone da 76/40 C.A."
Lenght of cartridge case : 441,6 mm
Cartridge case rim (bottom) diameter : 104 mm

        The Wehrmacht used a weapon as " 7,62cm Flak 266/1(i) "

Thank you Klarkon, your measurements are spot on! I was thinking English, it never crossed my mind it could have been Italian.

Your round is first which i have seen.

It's been sitting here next to my computer for a decade and I never thought to ask about it.
