Opinion(s) on Type 89 Japanese Knee Mortar Round?

Hi all!

Just bought this from a local dealer, thought I'd share and see if anyone had any opinions or additional information on the round. Any information, especially around the markings would be especially helpful. My understanding is it's a Type 89 "Knee Mortar" round, which will be a nice bookend piece to my other mortar round, a 60mm French Brandt.

Thank you both for that info! I know it's not a very detailed picture, I can try to provide a better one, but can anything be determined from the markings? Any info on a date perhaps?
