Not so sure about that. The damage seem to come from inside the tube exactly where the head of the rocket would be. Even artillery pieces that have had a "Rohrkrepierer" look fairly intact afterwards and the panzerschreck is quite thin-walled so it doesn`t seem that unlikely.

Damage does look period. Perhaps not the projectile...was there any Sprg.Ptr Z for this kind of weapon?

The damage goes inward at one point, but point outward elswhere. Perhaps a very tangential hit?
Or perhaps this was sabotaged with some small explosive device??
