    OMG another fake 1915 Secunden!

You can also see as on mine where the paper label once was.

    Wancer or Wanker Hans?

Hats off to nzef1940 for his insightful, polite and well reasoned contribution to this thread. I've seen drunken hecklers exhibit more grace, dignity and adult behavior than he has.

Back on my ignore list he goes. I don't need this aggravation.

Nick, if your Secunded grenades looked as wonderful as the WW1 Stielhandgranaten mit Brennzuender you posted in your last post we wouldn't be having this conversation. You clearly have a stunning collection, which is why I'm even more baffled that you would accept these sticks as original.

My contribution to this thread is over. I will not be returning to it.

        Here

        Hello,

Stay calm guys. All totally correct and original. There is an original french manual of those times, depicting exactly this mistake ("Notice Succincte sur les Divers Modèles de Grenades en Service dans l’Armée Allemande, 31 Mars 1918, Paris"). Have a look and have a great weekend!

You have made no contribution and good riddance.

Trying to declare a good original piece of history is fake just for the sake of your ego is appalling.

Enjoy your coffee and your grenades.

Edit: Do any of those incredible looking grenades (the WW1 delay fuse versions with the Feldgrau painted heads) in your last post have the Secunden sticks?

Thanks for the nice comment on the other stick Hgr's, These hgrs are the later model 17 (or mod 16/17) these are abbreviated with 5 1/2 SEK and makers Mark, also date stamp, more on these later, the Secunnden model was only produced by the Lachmann Berlin company.

Hans have you any further comments on the incorrect spelling?
I think the images and the supporting documentation have proved without a shadow of a doubt they are all genuine.

I hope other thread followers have learnt from this ?
Please comment or give feedback as a lot of time and effort goes into taking the pics and putting it all together for viewing.

                Kind Regards
                Nick ,
