    You've answered my next question...if the holes were covered and painted. Do you get the ompression the tip was painted once mounted? Is the limit of the white paint just the Magnewin tip or does it go a bit over the aluminium part. They are questions for me to be able to finish my rounds properly

    It appears it was painted after being mounted....The paint only covering the cap (tip)....I assume the veteran pulled the primer, fearing it may be a danger....Bodes

      Carles, A dull white, almost powder like appearance....Please post yours when you get it (or them) completed...I'd like to see the results....

      Also point taken on the quality of the paint....They weren't intended to be collector's items.........Bodes
