Potato masher opinions please.........

Howdy,been offered this masher at a fairly ok price.I know the head is drilled on it,but apart from that,is it genuine.Seen some fakes pointed out here recently and dont want to make the same mistake,thanks for any replies(apologies for the quality of the pics)

The condition isn't great. Metal has been repainted, head has been drilled,and there's no pull string and doughnut. They're not easy to find here though, so price is fair enough.
