This one just came up for sale on a UK dealer site this morning for 450.00 GBP. That was too rich for my blood, so I was going to post a link here for someone else to buy, but it sold 5 minutes after I saw it. What are your thoughts on the price based on the condition it is in?

Yea, that is crazy isn't it? After doing the currency conversion to dollars, it seems like this was priced about twice the actual market value.

Weren't all German fuze caps rounder shape ? The flattened ones were post ww2 ? Czech ?

Czech made TZ-2 (Třecí zapalovač 2). This pull-friction fuze was used on the Flash-bang grenades V10a and V10b and also on the color smoke candles DA 60, DA 600 etc.

Not necessarily, I've seen different shapes of caps. Also slightly flattened ones that were ground dug in Russia with WW2 German maker codes.
There is some slightly variation in makers versus shapes.
But the most of German WW2 caps are round shaped, that's correct.
And indeed Czech are all really flat.

So without maker code, run away from them.
