    20mm shell, flak? More info please...

    Small vet estate buy today included this shell. Is this for a Flak gun? Any info appreciated!

          Yep it is a 2cm FlaK 30-38 20x138b round produced for the Wehrmacht. Seems the shell has a dummy fuse, imitating a HE round. Same kind of rounds could be used with Kwk30-38 on Sdkf 222, Pzkpfw II and other vehicles with the 2cm gun.

                    Thank you. Pardon my ignorance of ordnance. But what is the purpose of a dummy fuze? Training? The research is interesting and eventually it'll end up on the estand but I want to be accurate!
