Help to identify Spanish CW bombshell

May someone help me to identify it? Picked today at a local flea market. The seller told me that it is from the Spanish Civil War, and really it seems very old.
It is impossible to assemble/disassemble it. Seems to be empty but it is not a lightweight piece.
    Many thanks ni advance....

If you don't have any other information, dimensions are most important. Diameter of the case and shell, length etc.

I think, it is 37 x 95R for Hotchkiss cannon.

No round I could find. I guess you didn't get the dimensions well. Basic dimensions are:

                      Diameter of the shell
                      Length of the case.

                      Have a look at: http://municion.org/

it could be the 37mm Hotchkiss round as klarkon mentions, as it's total length is 16,6 cm and shell diameter is 3,7 cm.
