              the color on the mortar is that camo ? normal red color i think camo color ?

                Normally these are of a darkish red colour indeed. Can't imagine mortars would need a camo paint. Though this paint does look like it's been on there for decades already.

                  Hi,

                  nice 8cm German mortar round !

                  The tan paint is not camouflage paint but regular, late-war tan/dark yellow paint !

                  The 8cm didn't only come in red but also in this dark yellow !!

                  Here is 1 of mine, with original paint, dated 1944.
