    WaA66 code

    Hello gentlemen,

I was trying to find info on the maker with WaA code 66 but I didn't see it in the lists available. Is this un unknown maker or did I perhaps not have the correct info available?
Thanks a lot for the help!

      Hi,
      According to my lists
      (Option 1)
German WW-II Heerswaffenamt inspector's mark on arms produced at Mauser Werke AG, Oberndorf am Neckar, Germany. Before 1938 this number was used by Simson, Suhl, Germany

      Another list shows
      (Option 2)
Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken AG Berlin-Borsigwalde

If used in conjunction with (edq)
Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken AG Wesloerstrasse, Lubeck-Schlutup

If used in conjunction with (fzs)
      Heinrich Krieghoff, Waffenfabrik,Suhl, Thuringen

      Hope this helps
      Russell

        Thank you guys!!

It's used in combination with makerscode jkg and it is stamped on a 3,7cm ammo clip. I have a few lists with makercodes but jkg was also not on there which puzzled me quite a bit.

I was guided a bit into the right direction by a friend just now who's into making models. Apparently it's for the 40mm Flak28, captured Bofors taken from Poland and Holland among others.
These jkg makermark is supposed to be Hungarian but I am not sure on that.

              Hello Russell,

Thanks a lot for confirming it is indeed a Hungarian manufacturer. Much appreciated. I will update my list with maker codes and Waffemamt stamps now.

              Cheers,
              Marcel
