the pics are not the best but unfortunately, I have to say that this M24 stick hand-grenade is 100% fake, no doubts about that !

Hello Greg,
Definitely a modern replica, it's identical to the one my son recently purchased for his WW2 living history display.
So, unfortunately it's a $40-$50 grenade and not a $700+ original grenade.
If you type M24 into the "search" box of this forum, you'll be able to compare featured originals against your example.

Hi,

the immediate giveaway is the manufacture method of the fitting for the can !

It looks simply wrong.

And the thickness of the thread on the can is also a clue......

The head also seems to have the pea-green color of those fakes with the yellowish inspriction "Vor Gebrauch Sprengkapsel einsetzten".
