Wooden crate for flarecatridges. Stencil puzzles me. Help!

I recently stumbled upon a wooden crate for flarecartridges (Kasten fur sternsignalpatronen), but the stencil on the outside of the crate puzzles me.
Who can help me out with this? I enclosed pictures of the stencil.

I've never seen such markings (but I don't know everything). Are you sure it's WWII ?

I have no idea what the label would indicate. In this box normally would go flares indeed. More then 6...

If you want a wooden box for flares with a label (indicating flares) maybe I can help you. I have one which may leave the collection. If you like to trade for example your box you can send me a message.

Sg 60 is a naval flare shell (Signalgeschoss 60) shot by the 6 cm Signalwerfer, it's about 6x22 cm, which could explain why only 6 were packed.

So, I may say this is a rare box then.

And Bruno the box is defenitely WW2. I found this KM marking on the side.
