88 flak shell

Hi guys this arrived this morning am I correct in thinking the casing is finnish reworked due to colour and no stamps anywhere on case ? all opinions welcomed cheers Dave

Hi Scrooge,

I have one of these with the markings intact. I read somewhere that the reworks had the bottom milled for some reason that I can't recall.

Looks like some remnants of the marking though about half way down at the 630 position.

Hey Scrooge, I like your 88 flak shell.
I've got one thats almost identical, although yours is in much better condition.

The one I purchased (some time ago) came without a primer or fuse. I was able
to pickup a Spring-wound Time and a Percussion fuse from a WAF member.
