Value of a K98 mortar round set?

is this worth a $1000 asking price? Everything is inert.

For $1K you could either buy or put a good down payment on the launcher itself complete with accessories.....Unless prices have gotten really crazy, I believe your round is worth around $300.....Bodes

That is a very nice complete set. The grenade launching round is very hard to find as is the grenade in this condition with cardboard container. 1K is a lot of money but where is a comparable set for less? Probably 5 to 6 hundred would be fairer but good luck finding one at that price. 300 is way too low IMO.

98k rifle-grenade set

Hi,

it is not a 98k mortar set but a German rifle-grenade.

$ 1000.- seems a little bit high but $ 300.- is far too low.

Finding a rifle grenade in that condition is already not easy nowadays,
and WITH the most rare cardboard container, I would say, around $ 500.-/600.-
would be very reasonable.

I sold 1 identical +-2 years ago for $ 750.-, here at the WAF e-stand, it took only 2 hours to sell it........!!

I would not worry about it. That is a very nice set and if you wanted to sell in the future I'm sure a buyer would appear. Hard to find stuff this nice anymore.

All the good items are higher in price these days so I'm afraid that's the price you pay for the mint pieces

It's a great find and will always re sell later as Ferd says.
Sometimes you'll pay a little more,, but at least you get the piece you want, guarantee if you passed up it sold,, you'd be kicking yourself because you didn't buy it. well done
