Hi every one! Im new this is my first post so dont beat me up
My name is Matt and i live in new zealand.
I am after some expert advice or directions to expert advice regarding the mills hand grenade/bomb. I have recently required one ( inert of course ) and today got around to do doing some research on what ive got. And couldnt quite find what im after in distinguishing what type era and maker of mills i have. It has 1940 stamped on one of the serations towards the bottom. But the biggest mystery to me is the spoon, spoon retaining lugs and how high the cotter pin is located in the lugs. Very uncommon and cannot find another like it. Hence starting this thread in hope of some strait to the point advice. Attached pic show my mills grenade. And another pic ( the grenade with colour on it ) shows the normal type of m36 you would encounter anywhere else. Thanks in advance for any helpĀ
please view here and help i cant attach pictures!
