French Mle 1935 47mm tank cannon. Used on S35 and Char B1 tanks. I have one also. Projectiles are very hard to find. I had to make a repro projectile. I should have a real projo coming in the mail shortly from overseas.

HE projectiles for this case are veryvery common to find here in Finland. But ArmorPiercing projectiles are not.Germans used Somua S35 tanks with this gun here in Finland at wartime.Thats why projectiles are quite easy to find.

        Here rounds from my collection:

I would beg and plead for you to ship a HE projectile to me in the US as they do not exist here, but I know you are unwilling to do so due to the laws in Finland. I have an AP projectile coming out of Russia found near St. Petersburg.

I would think the problems are from the american side...I've wanted to send militaria stuff from Europe to the USA but when I ask the other part to fill in the BAFT papers, so I can send without problem...then seems people are not interested.

I have had vast amounts of items shipped from many points in Europe and Russia - without any paperwork. Nothing has ever been stopped in transit to the US. Jipee76 has made it known in the past that he will not ship ordnance items out of the EU.

The fact that nothing has been stopped doesn't mean it is legal to send it freely, specially ordenance and certain weapon parts. If something is stopped and they go for the sender...he can get into great problems. The right procedure is to fill in the paperwork and get it approved by the BAFT.

I heard about some guy that sent a Bren to the USA, deactivated according to european specs. He got into tremendous trouble.

I am sorry to say this, but your comments did nothing to add to this conversation. I am quite fluent in BATF regulations, and the number of people who understand them can be counted on one hand.

The worst thing that can happen is your stuff is taken by the government. If you can deal with that, then ship away. However, there is no chance that trying to follow the BATF regulations will lead to success. I apologize for the harshness of my tone, but I have been doing this for a long time and have little patience for those who think they know how it works.

Problem is that postage goes to PASSANGER plane cargo to US.I dont know about rest of the europe, but here Postal Service x-rays ALL aircargo packets BEFORE they enter plane´s cargo space.X-ray system is automated computer system which automaticly identifies specific shape items from packets.

Yep, here more or less the same, and if they don't like what they see, you get a visit of the police and all your collection might be taken till they decide what to do with it. So at the end it would not be a problem for you in the States but for us at home, taking the risk of losing our collector's license, weapon license and our collections. I won't risk that and I understand other members that fear doing so.
