    8cm mortar round Gr. W. 34

    Hi,

    I would like to share pictures an inert 8cm mortar round for the Gr. W. 34 together with its original box. The set is coming from positions of the 2. SS-Panzerdivision "Das Reich" from the final stages of the war (April 1945 frontline directly after the battle of Vienna). Everything is fully inerat and completely legal!

    Very nice. Did you find these yourself, or buy from someone who did? Searching for, and then finding these is probably the best part.

      Great pieces
      In italy is very common to find this mortar, especially in the Gotic Line..
      my advice is use the oxalic acid for the bomb, they became more nice because they were inside the box.

        I thought I would update this with a before and after shot after a decent treatment with oxalic acid!

          They are painted in tan. Never seen that before ... Not common at all, nice catch ! A cleaning with oxalic acid would not hurt it.
