Big Artillery Shell marked GB 20 inches high?

I have no idea what this may of been for, i did not want to buy it but the price was right. It has to weigh 75 pounds and its marked GB on the top. The thing measures a little over 20 inches and and 18 1/2 inches around. Can anybody help me id this thing. Thanks for any help i may be able to get.
