Forum Members, What's the going rate on a WW1 US 75mm artillery projectile?.....No shell casing included.....No markings on the projectile, 1908 dated fuse.....Brass ring shows it's been fired.....Any information appreciated as usual.....Photo is for reference only....Bodes

Thanks Alan, I bought a British 18-pounder at a swap meet about 4-5 years ago for $20.....I figured that was a steal....This 75mm I have located is in an antique shop for $75.....I see one sold on eBay for just under $100, but I suppose it's like every thing else....Depends on who's looking and how bad one wants one....Bodes

I think $75 is a pretty fair price on the round you have located. In all candor, the $40 example I found at the militaria show was probably a bit of a bargain (I suspect the dealer needed to make a sale to go towards his show expenses, so he got "right" on the price to move it out the door).
