      Looks like an 20mm US/UK casing, used a lot in fighterplanes.

        For me it is a german 20x138b 2cm Flak/Kwk/C 30-38 round case. 38 would be the production year, 9c for the lot batch, and P181 would be the producer: Hugo Schneider A.G., Leipzig.

              You might have confused it with the 20mm Oerlikon 20x110. I was used as AA by the germans and on board by allies. I believe it is still used around the world.
