    LMB magnetic mine info wanted

I am trying to get my LMB magnetic mine fuse mechanism back to work, but I am having some trouble working out some details. Does anybody have an electronic schematic of the fuse circuit? Does anybody know the battery voltages used in the fuse circuit?

    regards,

Lots of fun information here: http://www.hnsa.org/doc/minedisposal/index.htm#part4

Please post pictures, is it anything like the magnetic torpedo detonator I'm working on?

Thanks for the link, it seems to have some schematics in it, hopefully I can find what I am looking for.

Here are some pictures of the LMB units:

In the center is the main magnetic sensor unit. This would have been gimbal mounted so it would level itself.

On the left is the hydrostatic clock which starts running when the mine reaches a depth of more than 5 meters. The clock delays the activation of the mine up to six days.

On the right is the ZKII counter, which can count up to 12 ship passes before finally exploding the mine.

The LMB mechanism is different from the electronic unit you are working on, this is all electronmechanical, no radio valves involved. Valves would drain the batteries fairly quickly, the LMB mechanism hardly uses any energy once activated, so the mine could remain operational for a long time.

      regards,

        LMB demo

Thanks to the info posted here, I managed to get the LMB setup operational. I posted a thread on my test here: http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...48#post6364948
