Mine?

Can anyone identify this object. I know the pics are a little poor. The object, which I thougt it looked like some sort of mine, is covered again.
I found it in an area of 100x200mtr where German and British hold position.

I don't know kind of looks like one. I would contact the police about it & not take any chances with it.

I found out it's probably a part of an oillamp.
