    recently this auction ended:

    US $ 260.- for ONE 5cm mortar-round, German !!!!

    Oh my goodness, that´s GREAT as our items (we already have !)
    are steadily going up in value......!

    Holy s__t,that is great price...

    I have sold atleast 50 of them and my prices were much lower...

      mine were not that expensive either, impossible to assemble
      3 full boxes of 10 at that price........

        That sounds great for the seller but will make collecting much more expensive...as everyone will want to achieve that price

          eBay auction results may not be the best indicators of realistic market values. Any given item may sell for 200 Euro one day, then 50 Euro the next week. I have seen common items go for very high prices from time to time, it happens when two people get into a bidding war but the next guy with one to sell may have no chance of achieving that price.

            250,- for 10 nice rounds in a nice box!

              Those kinds of prices are terrible news for me since I still have lots of ordnance items I would still like to get for my collection. But of course seeing one item fetch a high price is in no way an indicator that this is what other identical items will bring.... as already mentioned.

                Prices for german wartime ordnance in US are totally different than in Europe.

                US market does not have as much these items as here in Europe,that is what makes the big part of price difference.
