strange M24 at e-stand

Hi,

I saw this German M24 stick hand-grenade at the e-stand.

I have serious doubts about the stick hand-grenade (wooden handle fittings to head) and the head itself.
Also the markings DXO on the wooden stick are dubious, in my opinion !

The frag-sleeve is 100% good, no problem with that one.

Please let me know what your opinions are !

In my reference book says: maker of Nebelhandgranate 39´s.

Hi,

most probably, the faker saw 1 Nebel-hand-grenade with dxo (lower case) but marked the fake DXO (capitals).

The hand-grenade has no chance of being original.

Hope the buyer read this thread ?!

Well I'm the dupe who fell for this fake . I always wanted a nice M24 but it's out of my knowledge base and I've always felt secure buying things off of the estand. I send Onyx a PM requesting a refund so hopefully he'll be nice about it.

uuuhlala, must have been a lot of work to age the specimen OnyX had for sale.......!

And this job decupled its price.......

But those repros look awful as well, but very cheap.
