        Hello Maksiusta,

The cross-section is 66 mm, the height is 15 or 16 centimeters
with printed text P 65 and pressed text ggk4

These are containers for HE charges, these were used to send from one factory to another.
I know of 2 different versions, the other one being slightly bigger, that one is also
marked with the chargetype (Gr. 38 HL/B i think).
Roy's tube was found with the "P65" mark, and a "Sprl. d. 7,5 cm Igr. 38 HL/A" mark.
"Sprl. d. 7,5 cm Igr. 38 HL/A" , the HE charge for the 7,5 cm I.Gr. 38 HL/A, fits exactly in these tubes.

As for the crate: usually a Packkiste of some sort was used for transporting HE charges, Packkiste nr. 10 is often found with HE labels.

was used for the artillery or the panzer. And you know what type?
