    Teller landmine

I just came across what I believe is a deactivated Teller landmine. The fuse top is marked "RR 493 1940" along with "Sicher" in white and "Schare" in red. The bottom has some yellow paint marks but they may not be original. Not sure if it is German or a US training aid. Any help on origin and value would be appreciated. Thanks, Bob

      Teller Mine

That is 100% the WWII U.S. made version of the German Tellermine 35. Produced for training. Value with the corrosion...$75 to $100. They do sell upward of $150 in super nice condition.
