    Stockmine 43 Concrete Mine QUESTION

    Hello guys,

I bought a concrete mine this morning and when I came home I saw
    there was still something inside.

There is something in the top part, approximately 1-2 cm thick and
it's a soft material, like clay or plasticine. There is no hole in this stuff
so I can't look through the mine. It's like a piece of gum which was
    rammed inside...

There is no detonator present and no stick inside which looks like the TNT charge.
So only a little bit of this strange stuff.

I've made a drawing of it.

Could this be harmfull or is this just something which is put there postwar
to hold the detonator in place for display?

I don't want to mess with it unless I know it's not harmfull.

Please let me know what you think!

It's probably the detritus of a previous owner

These came with a fitted charge package, kinda wrapped in waxy paper. Bohrpatrone, I think.

    Here's a pic

Someone probably blutacked the end so the fuzing would stay in place for display. Use a stick and try working it out. If you are nervous use a really long stick or even better ask the cousin you hate to do it for you.

    Cheers
    Geof
