    WWI Message Round

    I thought I would post it here also because it's such an interesting and scarce round. I was really pleased to get it.

    The overall round...



    Date and maker mark...



    Disassembled showing the vented flare chamber...



    The propulsion ports (note there is at least 1 disk in there)...



    Finally the message chamber sadly missing the threaded cap and message...

      Hi Eric,
      As I was pulling it apart I was hoping the message compartment was still sealed with an important message like "send more toilet paper"!
