Cannister KWK43 Königstiger

Last saturday at La Gleize I bought a nice cannister. The cannister is for KWK43. The shell which belonged in here was for the King Tiger. Apparently this was also used for the PAK 43.

The container was dirty. I cleaned it up. See the before and after photo's.

I guess a dirty cloth and a bit of oil can do

I cleaned it with warm soap and a soft brush. Then I dried the cannister. When it was completely dry I cleaned it further with a cloth and a little bit WD40. Thats all!

Thanks for the tip.

I cleaned my Panzer IV ammo container with a brass brush and the a wipe over with WD40, came up really nice, see below.
