Can anyone tell me what i have here? one part looks like its from the egg grenade.

The stamp says PASS.....is pass a german word?:-)

The fuze is a BZE39. Here is a explanation:

The cloth pieces are extra lift charges for the 8cm mortar round.

It is fairly stable but extremely flamable ...
Personnaly, since I had quite a few, I carefully "un-stiched" part of the bag & I replaced it by some cardboard cut to the exact dimmensions. You can not tell visualy and it is 100% safe

the fuze is a Zündschnuranzünder 39 not a Brennzünder 39

To say it exactly: the ZDSCHNANZ 39 was made by Hermann Köhler AG, Nähmaschinenfabrik, Altenburg and bears a Norwegian post-war adaptor to attach the time fuse.

"Pass" is the German word for passport.
