Any proof that the R Pz B Granate 4992 ever existed?

Tricky one, or easy? Trying to find out as much as possible about the 4992 it strikes me that I have seen no grenade, no marking labels, no ammo box with the appropriate markings. In the Heerestechnisches Verordnungsblatt issued on 15 January 1945 it is promised that the 4992 will be made available to the troops in January 1945 (signed 20 December 1944). There are several pictures of one in the D 1864/6 dated 1. December 1944. But as far as I can tell it must be a prototype, as technical reports stated that production problems with the ring contact continued well into February 1944.
Apart from prototypes and test/experimental models; did the 4992 ever make it to mass-production?

      Thank you!

I am trying to get to the bottom of some of the things we take for granted, because it has always been regarded as a "fact". The existence of the Raketen Panzer Büchse 43 that actually never existed is such a "fact". Now I seem to think that the same might be the case with the 4992 grenade!
