Feeling about a dol43 M24 ?

Hi Gentlemen and experts on M24 ,

Here bellow some pictures of my latest find.
As we (I) are becoming more and more 'paranoiac', do you have any comment about it ? (the head may have been repainted has I can see some brush traces).

:P looks good to me a rare maker 1st complete M24 i have seen although i remember seeing just the head before i have an M43 marked "dol 44" and this would make a great partner for it!
as for being repainted i dont think so the colour looks right and i would have thought a lot of things were still brush painted back then

Nice but I would think repaint with brush strokes visible,all the M24 and M43 grenades I have are spray paint finish, also top edge of can has no wear evident to paint yet pitting can be seen under the paint. Handle looks nice enough and if the price is right it is worth buying.
