    hi all

I would like to have opinions on this wooden ammo box.

It has a camouflage scheme of three colors, type Normandy.

I will like to opinions about their authenticity and a possible purchase or sale price.

    Dimensions: 14x16x51

    Thank you!!
    Raul.

          Hola Raul,

This colour scheme is not the so called Normandy style, but early three colour pattern, pre 1940 (1936-39 aprox). Box is in very good and seems original condition. The price would depend...if you are really interested in the item or not. I wouldn't pay more than 20 or 25 euro, just because I'm not interested in it.

Reichswehr camo i believe is the proper name for this type camo?

Value is somewhere near 30-40euros for this box.Not much more.

I wouldn't call it Reichswehr, as the Nazi party reach power in 1933 and the armed forces were 'nazified', changing from Reichswehr to Werhmacht, in 1935, if not mistaken.

Yes but this type camo was used before 1935.Atleast i have seen boxes with this camo dated before 1935.

I have two of 3x-casing boxes with this camo, gotta check dates on them.

Not saying they didn't exist earlier but couldn't they be older boxes repainted after 1935? It is worth studying such a box.
