Artillery Shell Lamps

Hello Ordnance isn't my area of collecting so thanks for any help on what country these are from. They are all set to be made into lamps. I just need to pickup the hardware and some shades. THe shells are about 18 inches tall. Kirby

Is the 12 43 a date?

Just to start with: Bofors 40mm. I guess 12- 43 is the date.
