    Schutzen-Dosen-Mine

    I am trying to gather some more information on the German made Schutzen-Dosen-Minen, to my knowledge there are just 2 different types; one in metal (very much like the English equal) and one made of bakelite .

    Does anyone have a photo of the English type pillbox mine, and/or can tell how to tell the difference between the English and the German mine? I have also heard that there has been produced a very similar mine by some east-block countries.

    Here are photos of two Schutzen-Dosen-Mine, the one in bakelite is definitively German WWII, but the one in metal I am not sure of.

      Seems like the metal version on the photo also are of original German WWII manufacture:-) But it would still be nice if someone had a photo, or some other reference, to the English version of this mine.
