    T13 and T13E1 Grenades

I thought the forum might like to see these, and was also curious if anyone else has a T13E1. I have tried searching to find another one and Its like it doesn't exist!
Unfortunetly the T13 had tape put around it at some point, but both are in otherwise excellent condition.

          Hi,

You got 2 nicest T13s there, especially the T13E1 you have is the 1st and only one I ever saw !

I have one T13 in my collection - not quite sure if it is fine
but here are 3 pictures of it amongst my other US grenades.

Is the T13 rare or common ? I bought mine some 30 years ago at Spa,
          Belgium from Graham Irving.

          THANKS for showing yours !!

The T13 is a rare grenade, that has sold as high as US $2000 in the past couple years. The grenades were designed to explode on impact and have the dubious distinction of having killed more of its users than enemies. Some say T13s were at Normandy, but there is documented OSS use. Yours appears to be a fine example, and is something I'm sure many would want in their collection!

                Hi,

many thanks for your information !

I'm happy to hear that we own some valuable grenades there.

I didn't know anything about the actual value but I always loved
the grenade as it looks unusual and interesting.

I remember the price, I paid 3.000.- Belgian francs for it, which was
already expensive at that time. 3.000.- Belgian francs would be € 75.- or
                US $ 100.- today !

Good Old Times ! Oh well, only concerning prices........

Will take some pictures of my other US grenades today and show them later.

                Thanks again,

                Ferdinand
