                Can you Mike please show us closeup from the middle section of the model 1917 Eierhandgranate?

                There has been few examples of this grenade type recently which had shrapnel rim grinded off to make it look more rare rimless version.

                    yes definitely signs of scratching, something i brought up when i purchased them and the seller is happy to have it back if a reworked egg. How are these made, cast in 2 sections so would there be some mark anyway, the marks didnt completely match up on a later egg, anyone have any close ups of an original?

                          Here are some Krugel Panniers,the chain and hook are replaced as is the leather strap. two are ok condition third is quite rough but all are genuine.All are of the same type of construction.
