I picked up 2 x 20mm Hispano -suzia cannon shell cases today (both wartime dated) for £3 total at a local boot-sale. The guy said they were from a Hurricane and Spitfire. I would assume these are pretty common.

I also grabbed a modern 30mm rarden cannon shell, stamped 30mm AFV for £8.
