    88 shell?

    Gentlemen,

Dad just brought this in from a fleamarket, but I know very little about ordnance. As you can see on the picture, it says 8,8 cm, 7 1943 and the letters F S C.
Due to the 8,8 I think it might be an 88 shell, but I can not find which maker FSC stands for. I have been able to find ftc and fsx, for Frost u. Jahnel l, Breslau, Czechoslovakiaand and Albin Scholle, Lederwarenfabrik, Zeitz.

So if anyone can help me with this, I would be very pleased.

    Thanks

    Wouter
