I have no idea what the long cylindrical object is in the photos. It looks like it was dropped by parachute but seems to be too deep in the ground for this to be case. Or, maybe they were putting it in ground?
The name of the office on the back of the photos is the Marinesperrzeugamt (Navy Blockade Ordnance Office) at Kiel-Dietrichsdorf. It is also stamped Secret (Kommandosached!) which is interesting.
If anybody knows, I would like to find out what the object might be. I can only guess it is some kind of German naval mine dropped by aircraft for test purposes, but again, I have no idea.
