as we all know, the Flak 18 gun use a one-piece barrel ,and the Flak 36 use a three-piece barrel. some books say,that the Flak 37 also use the same barrel as the Flak 36. but the book 《German artillery of the WWII》by Ian V. Hogg said that:" the other change of the flak37 lay in simpler constrauction of the barrel;where,on the three piece barrel, the joint between the chamber an the centre section fell there was an erosive tendency, and cartridge cases sometimes expanded into this jiont and gave rise to trauble in extraction. so a final version of the barrel was produced in which the liner was in two pieces： the chamber and commencement of rifling, and the remainder of the bore."
so my question is ,It's that ture?
and another problem.
the book names 《Die Geschuetze，Ordnung-Feuerleitgeraete der schweren Flak》by Werner Mueller said:"...Mit Einfuehrung der Stahlhuelsen and Einsaprung der Messinghuelsen und bei der Verwendung der Eisenfuehrungsring an der Granate wurden ab 1943 wieder ungeteilte Seelenrohr hergestellt.... "that means that ,the german produced from 1943 one-piece barrel again. It's that also ture?
