WW1 German Rifle Grenade

I think this is a German Rifle Grenade? some kind of nasty thing anyway, any one know what its called?

Missing the rod but other than that looks ok, doesnt appear to be ground dug

It is german GewehrSprenggranate 1913.It is missing metal rod from the tail.
