Info needed about Practice stickhandgrenade

Hi there,

I recently bought a nice training stickhandgrenade. I would really appreciate it, if anyone could give me some information about it.

This stickhandgrenade is not as simple as the ones I know that were used for throwing practice only: a wooden stick with a metal ring at the top. This one is a bit more detailled.
It's also not like the (red) traningversion with the holes and fit for the übungsladung 30.

It's length is 35 cm and the weight is 480 gr. There are no markings. It seems that at the end of the stick there could an end cap, but there isn't. The head is made out of painted wood with lead inside. Under the wooden head is a metal, green painted ring.

Can anyone tell me if it's a genuine ww2 practice sticKhandgrenade?
Why would the stick be prepared for an end cap if it's only used for throwing?
What type can it be?

I think this in a repro/fake not a pratice grenade.

It crossed my mind as well, but why would anyone bother to make a fake/replica like this, if you can buy a much better looking and more realistic replica for about € 20,00 in dozens of webshops?
