    Real Nice M24 or not?

This is either the best condition late war M24 I've ever seen or a repro grenade with a real frag sleeve. I'm not familiar with 2 letter mfr codes so I'm throwing it out for opinions. Thank you in advance for your expertise!

Boiling in water, till the explosives turn liquid and get out

                    M24

                    Hi,

I like the nicest brb 44 frag-sleeve and the pull-cord which look
                    100% original !

However I don't like the rest of the grenade at all - I have serious doubts
about the paint and the authenticity of the head and wooden stick !

                    Ferdinand

I think at the very least the grenade has been repainted.Bottom of can looks
wrong? The strengthening ribs look to be pressed to deep? and fuse well looks to have been refitted or at least a fuse well fitted to the grenade but not necessarily the fuse well from this grenade. Also grey primer in fuse well area is another area of concern. String, pull ball and the frag sleeve look good.
As always its hard to be 100% certain without a hands on inspection but Im positive the grenades been messed with.

wc code is Hasag, Hugo Schneider AG, Meuselwitz plant, Thuringia. I have a couple of wc handles.

Everything original, just repainted. The end cap I´m not sure, a closer pics would be great. Gran Sasso, nobody would boil a grenade like that without opening it. It is not like the plastic explosive, just like powder.

But it makes no sense, just with a small hole in the det well you can get out everything inside.
