    A pyrometer HHHMMMmmmmm. All one those..

    Now I am going to be funny here so do not take it personally.

    To my trained eye it looks like you would throw the other end of the long end into something hot like a fire and then you stand back approximately two feet and take a measurement of how hot you are?
