Just picked up a 50mm Mortar round!

Look what came in this week: a 50mm (or 5cm, depending on who you ask) Mortar round, dated 1937. TONS of proofs all over it, fuze head comes off and the internal fuse cap screws out. First on I've ever come across, got it in a collection I bought out.

              I'd disagree on that one.

Ones offered and SOLD online are in the $100-$150 range.

Price for these are way different here in Europe than in US.These are way more common to find here than US.Thats why the price is different.

That makes sense, should have figured out on my own they pop up there in EU MUCH more often, as not many US G.I.'s brought back mortar rounds as souvenirs, and you guys are still finding crates of them strewn around the countryside

I can just imagine the sh*tstorm that would ensue if you tried shipping these to US. The recipient would be spending at least a day or two explaining to the govt exactly what they are lol!

Havn't been to Finland since I was a kid. Now I suddenly have the urge to fly to Helsinki International for a "fishing trip" haha

                            Could they be family?
