    Panzerfaust Klein Document

Can anyone comment on the commonality or not of the Panzerfaust Klein Merkblatt I show below. I picked this up an one of the OVMS shows at the Drawbridge Inn years ago.

    Thanks.

I had a very similar one, it was 100% original (almost falling apart), but with these paper items you need to have them in hand to be sure, and even then it is difficult. Also other Panzerfaust pamphlets are known to have been heavily faked. Yours might be an original, but what worries me a bit is that it look like a misspelling/misprint in the top line saying "Zum einlegen in das Gerat" instead of "Gerät" as would be the correct spelling.

Even this one on ebay.de looks convincing with aging and all, however the seller claims it is a repro (respect for that!):

      thanks

All I can offer is that this one is certainly printed on aged, high acid content paper and done so in an offset press manner. It was not done with easily accessible EP equipment such as a photocopier or laser printer. That alone does not prove authenticity. I was hoping some one had another for comparison.

It is also interesting that Gerät is spelled correctly on the reverse side text. I would imagine that a dropped umlaut would be one of the more common typesetting errors in this language. Still a good reason for pause.

      Thanks
