WTB Flak 38 whole or parts kit

    Hi all,

My reenactment unit has been looking high and low for a flak 38 be it a parts kit as a replica or an original. We have the money available to us but we can't find a source for any of it. Does anyone know of a flak 38 parts kit or whole gun for sale either replica or original?

    regards

    "Panzer 224",
there was a company on the east coast "6" months ago that had a few 4 barrel flak guns.
(flak 38 ?? ) , they were very pricey , totally demilled , but complete. Sorry ,I can not remember who. was not advertised on their "direct" web page; had to go to a link to a hidden page of high priced stuff. these were on the 2 wheeled "trailer" to tow to the use site.
the site was one of those sites with some ex- military & repro junk. not a military antique site.
was ON the east coast for sure ; southern east coast....... jeff h.

        Hi all,

The collectors guild one is nice but we are not interested in that one due to the conversion of currency and shipping charges. We would preferably like to find one in the U. S. and we do have the money available to us. Does anyone at least know where a person may build replicas? We are basically looking for parts or a whole gun.

I know some time ago a member here 'esbit' had one for sale in the US. Might be worth contacting him to see if he still has it.
          Cheers

            Hi guys,

My unit is still searching for a flak 38. Are there any other possible leads on where to find one? We could also use a gas firing replica. My unit said they are not interested in one we found and we are still looking.

One option if you have to build one from scratch is to use a Seiga 12 guage semi auto shotgun. I use one in my 222 for it's 2cm gun and Swansons has now developed some very loud, synthetic black powder blanks, that put out a nice puff of smoke and blast, but dont foul easily since it is synthetic.
We build a dummy receiver and installed the Seiga hidden inside (with butt stock removed). You can use 10 round or 20 round magazines. DON'T go with gas guns, they suck and are very aggrivating.

On another note I do have an original FLAK 38 sighting system with its original metal carrying case for sale if you guys are interested let me know and I can post pics and a price.
                Thanks, Michael

That's the one I mentioned above.
For 35K all the numbers would want to match.

                        Hi Gran Sasso,
Completely off topic, but being from Bavaria, are you aware of any artillery displays around Munich, Berchtesgaden or Salzburg?
